Weddings, Reunions, and Events at Taber Ranch

Taber Ranch Events offers a stunning, rustic venue on a 20-acre working farm and ranch for your wedding, family reunion, or other special event. With our beautiful landscapes and picturesque backdrops, we provide the perfect venue to create lasting memories. We provide beautiful indoor restrooms for cowboys and cowgirls as well as tables and chairs (up to 120 people) for your food and guests.  Three electrified stages are available for bands and dancing.  We can set up additional shade sails and party tents as needed.  Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, our experienced team is here to ensure your event is truly unforgettable.

Rental Agreement

Reservations and Deposits

Reservations for Taber Ranch Events are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Venue rental is $ ___________. A signed rental agreement and a twenty percent $ ______________

non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a date. This deposit will apply toward your rental balance. The balance remaining will be due in four equal installments with the final payment made one month prior to rental date. 

Occupancy Levels

Outdoor event capacity is 200+ people. Be prepared to rent a tent(s) if you are concerned about rain or sun. Taber Ranch Events has three party tents, each of which can accommodate 4 tables, seating 32 people.

Alcohol Consumption

  

You are free to use any vendor of your choosing and we can recommend vendors. Alcoholic beverages may be served at Taber Ranch Events providing the renter obtains a Banquet Permit from the Washington State Liquor Control Board website and abides by the following policies. They have been designed for the safety of you and your guests as well as for the protection of the Taber Ranch Events. Responsibility for consumption of alcohol at your event, and liability for any consequence arising from consumption, rest upon the renter and the party obtaining the Banquet Permit. (The permit must be purchased a minimum of 5 days in advance of the event.) A copy of the banquet Permit must be received by Taber Ranch Events no later than 1 day prior to the event. 

Alcohol is limited to beer wine and/or a signature drink. No alcohol may be served to minors. I.D. will be required.  Alcohol service must cease 30 minutes prior to the end of your event. Taber Ranch Events encourage celebration, not drunkenness. Any guests becoming unruly or out of hand will be asked to leave. 

Taber Ranch Events retains the right to end alcohol service, and/or the event at any time, if, for any reason, our staff feel behavior and/or alcohol consumption are getting out of control or dangerous.

Guests are encouraged and welcomed to leave their cars overnight if their driving abilities are impaired and pick them up the next day.

House Rules

  

The renter is responsible for catering, decoration and guidance during set up of the event. 

Please report all spills and breakage to the staff so the proper clean up measures can be taken.

The renter is responsible for hiring a DJ or live band for the event. 

Music must stop by 9:45 pm. We ask that noise and music levels be kept to 75 decibels or less. If our requests are not met, then we will require that the music be terminated and/or the event ended.

Smoking is allowed outdoors. 

If any damage or theft occurs, the renter will be held responsible for loss or damaged items.

Kitchens are to be used for serving only. No food preparation shall take place on site due to health regulations. 

Our facilities are a temptation for mischievous behavior by unmonitored children. We request that all children present at events be monitored. We require that a designated person be assigned this responsibility.

All fruit on trees or on the ground are not to be picked, thrown or fed to the animals for everyone’s safety.

Personal items left for more than a week after the event will be donated.

Parking

  

Please do not park outside of the designated parking areas. Do not park on any streets or roads including 36th Ave NE.

If you choose to put up additional signs on the roads and intersections leading to Taber Ranch Events, please be sure to assign someone to remove them following the event.

Please make your bridal party aware that if they choose to decorate your vehicle, they need to consider the environment and potential litter.  Toilet paper or other materials likely to fall off a moving vehicle are not appropriate.

Deliveries

  

Equipment deliveries may be made during the week preceding your event. Please call ahead to schedule delivery times.

Tours/ Rehearsals

  

Tours are available on an appointment basis. A one-hour rehearsal is available to you during the week before your ceremony. Rehearsals may start anytime of your choice after 4:00pm.

Photography

Our facility reserves the right to use photographs taken at our venue for any and all purposes that we deem necessary. This includes, but is not limited to, advertising, display, and promotions. In the event that your images are used, we will in turn give appropriate credit to the photographer and artist by listing their name, studio, and web site if applicable.

Force Majeure and Safe Work Environment

  

If Taber Ranch Event cannot perform or believes it may not be able to perform this Agreement in whole or in part due to a fire, natural disaster, act of war or terrorism (domestic or foreign), epidemic or pandemic, action of any governmental authority (including a Government Order), national or regional emergency, other casualty, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, whether or not foreseeable (“Force Majeure Event”), then the Taber Ranch Events will give notice to the Renter as soon as reasonably practicable after Taber Ranch Events determines that a Force Majeure Event will or may prevent Taber Ranch Events from performing under this Agreement. Taber Ranch Events shall have no obligation to perform under this Agreement and no liability for delays or failures to perform due to a Force Majeure Event, but Taber Ranch Events shall first work with the Renter to find an alternative date for the Event that is suitable to both Renter and Taber Ranch Events. To the extent the Parties cannot agree on a suitable replacement date consistent with Taber Ranch Events’ availability, Taber Ranch Events may also refund fees paid to the Taber Ranch Events under the Agreement, less any amounts necessary to cover expenses and work already performed by Taber Ranch Events related to the Event and the non-refundable deposit paid to reserve the date. 

Renter understands that Taber Ranch Events works to maintain a safe work environment, including but not limited to, complying with applicable governmental laws, directives, orders, and regulations (each a “Governmental Order”). Renter further understands and agrees that Taber Ranch Events shall not be required to perform under this Agreement if the Event is held in violation of a Governmental Order or Taber Ranch Events’ participation in the Event would violate a Governmental Order. 

If any term of this Agreement is determined by a court to be invalid, illegal, or incapable of being enforced, such term shall be excluded to the extent of such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability; all other terms hereof shall remain in full force.

Liability

The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Taber Ranch Events LLC, its owners, employees, and affiliates for any and all claims, demands, losses, actions, and liabilities including injury to person or damage to property, including but not limited to those caused by any service, food, or alcohol provider and/or their products, hired or obtained by the renter; except for such claims, demands, losses, actions, or liabilities that arise out of negligence or willful misconduct by said owners employees, or affiliates. Taber Ranch Events LLC and its staff will also not be held responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten articles. The undersigned has read and agreed to abide by the above rental policies and hereby agrees to rent Taber Ranch Events on
